The opportunity

We’re looking for a full-time Sales Manager to own the commercial front end of the firm. Alsvior Global sells two things: senior consulting and managed technology across Cyber Security, AI, Data & Analytics and PPM; and EMS, our own professional-services-automation platform. You’ll be the person who turns that offer into a predictable pipeline — sourcing, qualifying, shaping and closing the work.

This is a hands-on, carry-the-number role in a deliberately small firm. There is no SDR team feeding you meetings and no marketing engine to hide behind. You’ll build the pipeline yourself, with direct access to the Director and to our senior consultants, who will join you in the room whenever a deal needs technical weight behind it.

It’s also a role with an unusually good starting position: an existing client base that includes household-name enterprises and public bodies, three live partner relationships — Microsoft, OnePlan and Atlassian — that generate genuine co-sell and referral flow, and a product in EMS that gives you a second, recurring-revenue motion alongside services.

The role is aimed at the mid-to-senior level, and we’re open to two profiles in particular.

  • Consulting / professional-services background

Someone who has sold consulting, systems integration or managed services into mid-market and enterprise accounts — comfortable selling capability and outcomes rather than a SKU, and used to shaping statements of work, day rates and retained engagements with a delivery lead alongside them.

  • B2B SaaS / partner-ecosystem background

Someone from a B2B software or Microsoft-ecosystem sales background who has run a subscription motion end to end — qualification, demo, pilot, commercials, renewal — and now wants a broader remit that includes services and a genuine say in how the offer is built.

Either route works for us. We care more about commercial judgement, discipline in the pipeline and credibility in front of a technical buyer than about ticking every box on day one. What we can’t teach is the willingness to pick up the phone, the honesty to disqualify a bad-fit deal early, and the patience to work an enterprise cycle properly. We’ll give you the partner introductions, the senior cover on every technical conversation, and the room to shape how we sell.

What you’ll be doing

Pipeline and new business

  • Owning the top of the funnel end to end — building target account lists across the UK, Spain and Portugal, and running structured outbound into them by phone, email and LinkedIn.
  • Qualifying opportunities against a clear framework — problem, decision process, budget, timeline and technical fit — and disqualifying early rather than carrying dead weight in the forecast.
  • Running first meetings and discovery sessions on your own, and bringing in a senior consultant at the point where the conversation needs depth.
  • Keeping the CRM honest: accurate stages, realistic close dates, next actions on every open opportunity and a forecast the Director can rely on.

Partner-led demand

  • Working our Microsoft, OnePlan and Atlassian relationships as a live demand channel — building relationships with partner sellers, keeping our capability front of mind and sourcing co-sell and referral opportunities.
  • Representing Alsvior at partner events, marketplace listings and joint campaigns, and following up on what those generate.
  • Positioning our practice areas — Cyber Security, AI, Data & Analytics and PPM — against the partner programmes and funding routes that make an engagement easier for a client to say yes to.
  • Feeding partner-sourced intelligence back into the firm so we know where the demand is genuinely moving.

Proposals, commercials and closing

  • Shaping opportunities into proposals and statements of work alongside the delivery lead — scope, approach, assumptions, team shape and phasing.
  • Building the commercial model for an engagement, whether that’s a fixed-scope project, a time-and-materials build or one of our retained managed-service tiers.
  • Leading the negotiation — pricing conversations, procurement, MSAs, security questionnaires and supplier onboarding — and knowing when to hold a price and when a deal isn’t worth the terms.
  • Running a clean handover into delivery, so the team inherits an engagement that matches what the client was actually sold.

EMS and account growth

  • Running the sales motion for EMS, our PSA platform for consulting firms — qualification, demo, pilot, pricing and conversion to paid — alongside the EMS Product Lead.
  • Growing existing accounts: mapping stakeholders beyond your original sponsor, spotting adjacent problems in other parts of the business and converting successful projects into retained work.
  • Owning renewals and retainer extensions, and getting ahead of the conversation rather than reacting to a notice period.
  • Contributing to how we go to market — messaging, case studies, campaign ideas and the reusable collateral that makes the next deal easier than the last.

Essential experience and skills

  • Three to eight years in a quota-carrying B2B sales role selling consulting, systems integration, managed services or enterprise software.
  • A demonstrable record of sourcing your own pipeline — not just working inbound leads or an inherited account list.
  • Experience running a full cycle into mid-market or enterprise accounts, including multi-stakeholder decision processes and formal procurement.
  • Enough technical literacy to hold a credible first conversation about cloud, security, data or project-portfolio tooling, and the judgement to know when to bring a consultant in.
  • Disciplined CRM and forecasting habits — you can explain where every open deal sits and why, without preparing for a week first.
  • Clear, persuasive written and spoken English, and the ability to write a proposal that reads like a firm wrote it rather than a template.
  • Right to work in the UK, Spain or Portugal, and willingness to travel regularly for client meetings, partner events and team meet-ups.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling within the Microsoft partner ecosystem — co-sell, marketplace transactions or partner-sourced pipeline.
  • Familiarity with PPM, project-portfolio or professional-services tooling (OnePlan, Project Online, Planview, Smartsheet, Kantata or similar).
  • Exposure to cyber security, AI or data-and-analytics services, and the buying patterns around them.
  • A track record of converting pilot or proof-of-concept users into paying customers on a subscription product.
  • Public-sector or regulated-industry sales experience, including framework and tender routes.
  • A second European language alongside English — particularly Spanish or Portuguese, given our team footprint.

The person we’re looking for

  • Self-starting. In a firm this size, nobody fills your calendar for you — and that’s exactly the appeal if it’s the right role for you.
  • Disciplined. You work a defined process, you follow up when you said you would, and your pipeline reflects reality.
  • Honest about a deal. We’d far rather hear “this one isn’t real” early than watch it slip quarter after quarter.
  • Credible with technical buyers. You don’t need to be the expert in the room, but you do need to earn the right to bring one.
  • Long-game minded. We sell senior work to serious organisations; that means building trust over months, not pushing for a signature in week two.
  • Comfortable in a small team. You’ll get the exposure, ownership and influence over the offer that you simply wouldn’t get inside a larger firm.

How the role will grow

In year one we’d expect you to own the full commercial cycle across a defined set of target accounts and at least one partner relationship, with senior cover on the technical conversations and the Director alongside you on the largest deals. By year two we’d expect you to be running the go-to-market rhythm in your own right — setting the target account strategy, owning the partner channels outright and shaping how we price and package our work. The route from there leads to Senior Sales Manager and, for those who want it, to Commercial Lead accountability across both the consulting practice and EMS, including responsibility for building out the team beneath you.

What we offer

  • Genuine ownership of the commercial function in a firm small enough for your work to be visible and directly attributable.
  • A credible starting position: an existing enterprise and public-sector client base, three live partner relationships and a product in EMS to sell alongside services.
  • Direct access to the Director on strategy, pricing and deal shape — no layers between you and the decision.
  • Senior consultants who will get in the room with you, so you never have to bluff a technical conversation.
  • Generous personal-development budget covering sales training and relevant Microsoft, OnePlan and Atlassian certifications.
  • Properly remote working from the UK, Spain or Portugal, with periodic team meet-ups across London, Barcelona, Porto and Lisbon.
  • Influence over the offer itself — what we sell, how we package it and which markets we go after next.

How to apply

Send a CV and a short covering note (a few paragraphs is plenty) — through the form on this page, or by email to careers@alsviorglobal.com. Tell us which of the two profiles above fits you best, walk us through one deal you sourced and closed yourself — what the problem was, who you had to convince and what nearly killed it — and tell us how you’d go about building pipeline here in your first ninety days.

We’ll respond to every application. Shortlisted candidates can expect an initial conversation with the Director, a technical conversation grounded in a realistic configuration scenario, and a final values and team-fit conversation. We’re committed to building a diverse team and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds — if you need adjustments to the process, let us know.
